Membership & Personal Studios

ShopSpace exists today due to the activity and contributions of our community. A membership supports our nonprofit organization and provides you with access to ShopSpace’s equipment and expertise for your projects. Whether you come in everyday or just a few times a year, your membership is a great way to help ShopSpace thrive and grow.

MEMBERSHIP

Interested in becoming a monthly member?

  1. Sign up for the safety class and while you’re in the shop, we will get you set up in our membership system.

  2. Pay $125 initiation fee in person at ShopSpace.

  3. Sign up online or in-person for automatic monthly billing.

If you have a punch card from our previous system, bring it in and we will apply to remaining value of the card to your membership. (We will also continue to honor the previous punch card system until your card is used up.)

Members enjoy 10% off on all classes, unlimited open time, and the chance to be part of a growing community of creatives.

PERSONAL STUDIOS

Are you into hobbies that you can't fully enjoy in your living room? Would you like to reclaim your garage space? Perhaps you need a dedicated place away from home to fuel your creativity and focus better.

Discover your ideal workspace at ShopSpace! With a personal studio membership, you'll gain access to our newly expanded area outside regular hours and unlimited use of our tools while we're open. We offer various studio sizes, so you can create a customized workspace with ample storage for your tools and projects.

Each studio features three walls and is open to the building. You'll have access to a 20-amp circuit with four outlets and a switched outlet for additional lighting if needed. Studio sizes range from 9' x 11' to 18' x 11'.

Please note that processes involving significant noise or dust must be done during open hours to ensure a pleasant environment for all members. We also offer upgrades, such as adding a fourth wall and door for enhanced security and privacy.
